March 29th, 2 PM:
Catch Up Tea:
We will meet at the Angels Unaware office for an ADULTS ONLY
social to catch up with everyone. Angels Unaware is located at
6370 Union Street, Arvada, 80004,

May 31st: Family Cookie Share and Pottery Painting: We will be snacking on delicious cookies of almost every kind while we try our hands at creating some colorful pottery pieces. All painting supplied will be provided by Into the Fire, so the only thing to bring is two dozen (24) cookies and you will leave with two dozen different cookies. We will meet at Into the Fire in Olde Town Arvada, 7409 Grandview Avenue, Arvada, 80002, (303) 423-9864. RSVP required Volunteers are welcome, but please RSVP.
July 26th: Family Putt Putt Golf Fun(d) Raiser: Details of this are still to be determined. We hope to have a collaborative event raising funds for Camp Ray Ray while hitting golf balls through windmills and tunnels. Check back for new information! .

15th Annual Camp Ray-Ray

Gras Masquerade:
"My favorite part of Camp Ray-Ray is knowing there are people out there
like you, that you can be yourself and not worry about things. Like a Great Big
Family." Welcome to the 15th Annual Camp Ray-Ray. Up to 20 families and over 30
volunteers will gather Labor Day Weekend to provide encouragement and support to
children living with HIV/AIDS. This year's activities include: horseback
riding, talent show, volleyball, bowling, letterboxing (hiking with a treasure
hunt twist), Weird Science with Peter, Pee Wee pajama party, dancing, massages,
hair cuts, face painting, mini-Olympics, trip to Estes Park, Remembrance
Ceremony, & Magical Mardi
Gras Masquerade.

21st Annual Colorado AIDS Walk:
Angels Unaware is a partner and will benefit from Colorado AIDS Walk. Walk or help raise donations for this important event, starting at Cheesman Park (Denver). You can register to walk for Angels Unaware at www.aidswalkcolorado.org. Make sure you designate Angels Unaware as your team! "We have not yet defeated AIDS, but together we can make a difference."

Celebrate World AIDS Day at The Parlour Denver, 1736 Wynkoop
Street. 100% of all proceeds from haircuts will be donated to
Angels Unaware Camp Ray-Ray 2009. Kick off the holiday season
and spirit of giving with
The Parlour Denver. Come down and contribute by enjoying a
haircut and some holiday refreshments.

6th, 2:00-4:00 PM:
Holiday
Party with Family/Volunteer Gift Exchange: 
Enjoy food, games, swimming, and fellowship at Angels Unaware's
annual holiday party. Re-connecting with family and friends
(volunteers) during the holiday is a great way to
celebrate and acknowledge the support and kindness shown through
AU and Camp Ray-Ray. AU will bring food and beverages for the
party. Bring a family gift to participate in the family gift exchange!
This year, the family gift should be a re-gift or a homemade
gift. (Please do not go out and purchase a gift; $10 in value
limit.) We will meet at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center (4005
Kipling Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). RSVP by phone or email
is required by December 2, including how many adults and
children under 12 will attend and how many are swimming. Volunteers are encouraged to
attend, but please RSVP! ~Kids can swim in the leisure pool,
which includes a 120 foot water slide, a frog slide for the
little ones, fountains, tumble buckets, and the lazy river. Kids
under 5 who swim must be accompanied by an adult and children
under 8 must be supervised by an adult. ~
